1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. milk
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. coarsely chopped pecans
1 devil's food cake mix
1 1/4 c. water
1/3 c. oil
3 eggs
1 lg. Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. In small saucepan, combine butter, 1/4 cup milk and brown sugar. Cook over low heat just until butter is melted. Pour into two 9 or 8-inch round cake pans. Sprinkle evenly with nuts. In large bowl, combine cake mix, water, oil and eggs. Beat 2 minutes at high speed. Spoon batter over pecan mixture. Bake 35-45 minutes or test for doneness. Cool 5 minutes. Remove from pans. Cool completely. Place one layer on plate, praline side up. Spread top and side with Cool Whip. Place other layer on top praline side up. pread top and side with remaining topping. Refrigerate.
