1/2 c. olive oil
1 small can tomato paste
1/2 c. fresh chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. toasted pine nuts
1 lb. shrimp or scallops, cooked (optional)
1/2 c. parmesan cheese
1/2 c. fresh chopped basil
2 - 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. pepper
8 oz. thin spaghetti or vermicelli

Combine all ingredients except for pasta in large bowl and mix well. Add hot pasta over mix and stir well.
