2 cups old fashioned oats
1/3 cup maple syrup
3 cups whole milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Pour oats into a baking dish. In a bowl, mix the remiaining ingredients and pour over oatmeal. Bake at 350º for 40 minutes, stirring once about half way through. Sprinkle oats with 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1 tsp, cinnamon and serve in bowls. Add pats of butter and drizzle with maple syrup. I add a little milk too.

This is not the kind of breakfast you would want to have every day, but if you like oatmeal, and want something nice for a special occasions, this is delicious.
