1 pound sliced beef liver
2 large onions, sliced and separated into rings
2 Tbsp butter
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Pat liver dry with paper towels and set aside. In a large skillet cook onions in hot butter, over medium heat until tender then remove from skillet. Add liver to skillet and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat for 3 minutes - then turn. Add onions back into skillet; cook for another 2-3 minutes more or until liver is slightly pink in center. Remove liver and onions from skillet. Stir 2 tsp of water, the lemon juice and the Worcestershire sauce. Heat through and pour over liver and onions.

Do not over cook the liver it will get dry and chewy.
