1 10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped spinach
4 oz. medium noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. dairy sour cream
3 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
Directions:
Cook frozen spinach accroding to package directions; drain well. Cool noodles in a large amount of boiling, salted water until tender, about 10 minutes; drain well. In skillet, brown ground beef; drain off fat. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, salt, garlic salt, pepper, and the cooked noodles. Stir together the cream cheese, sour cream, milk, and onion.
In a 2 qt. casserole layer half of the ground beef-noodle mixture, half of the cream cheese mixture, all of the spinach, and then the remaining beef-noodle mixture. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees until bubbly, about 40 minutes. Uncover; spread with remaining cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Bake, uncovered until cheese melts, about 10 minutes.
