2 cups flour
4 tspns. baking powder
1/2 tspn. salt
4 Tblspns. sugar
5 Tblspns. butter
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cups milk (more or less)
Raisins as desired

Sift dry ingredients. Cut in butter and add raisins. Add egg and milk. Knead until rolling consistency, and cut into desired size.

Bake at 350 degrees until golden.
