Personal Notes:
The first time I had this wonderful dish was on Thanksgiving Day. My dad, Peter Cassara, died the day before. I was living in Nashville, and the four of us flew to New Rochelle. By the time we arrived, the entire family was there. The next day, all the neighbors and relatives supplied us with Thanksgiving dinner. I remember I could hardly eat. When Phyllis brought the noodle pudding, it was the only thing that seemed palatable. I tasted it and loved it. It is a great side dish and good to bring to someone's house. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
