2 c. sugar
3/4 c. oleo
2 eggs
3 c. sifted all purpose flour
1&1/2 tsp. baking powder
1c. pecans, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1&1/2 tsp. soda
1&1/8c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1&1/2 c. mashed bananas

Directions:
Directions:
Cream oleo and add sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with the buttermilk. Add vanilla, bananas and nuts. Bake in loaf pans at 350º. When cake is done it will turn loose from the sides of pans.
