1 lb. powdered sugar
3 eggs
3 tspns. baking powder
2 1/2 cups of cake flour
Few drops of Anise, Vanilla or Almond extract

Directions:

Mix wet ingredients. Add flour a little at a time using a spoon. Then with your hands, mix well and roll the size of a finger.

Cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces. Put on a cloth and let dry overnight.

Bake at 400 degrees on floured pans. They will pop open. Take out and place in a dish.

The last time I visited my cousin Benita in Connecticut, she showed me a box of old photos. In the box were a few of Aunt Mary's handwritten recipes. I just had to copy them and add them to my cookbook, since I couldn't find more than one of her recipes in my recipe file. Hope you enjoy them!
