This bread is moist, meaty and has no preservatives. Wait until you smell the wonderful aroma throughout your house!
Add ingredients in the order listed. All ingredients must be at room temperature.
2 Pound Loaf: Water 1 1/3 cups Butter/Oil 2 Tblspns. Nonfat Dry Milk 2 Tblspns. + 2 Tspns. Salt 2 Tspns. Granulated Sugar 2 Tblspns. + 2 Tspns. Honey 1 1/2 Tblspn. Bread flour 4 cups Active Dry Yeast 1 ½ Tspns.

Directions:AUTOMATIC BREAD PROGRAM
• Press SELECT to NORMAL or RAPID cycle. • Press BAKING CONTROL for MEDIUM. • Press LOAD SIZE for either REGULAR (1 lb.) or LARGE (1 ½ or 2 lb.). • Press START. • After baking, press STOP. Remove bread from Bread Machine and baking pan. Cool on rack. |

Notes: Even though I love whole wheat bread, there is something to be said about plain white bread. This recipe is all natural and has a great flavor. My family loves it. In fact, I have to make plain bread for Eric primarily, since he is not fond of the crunchy healthful kind. If you must have white bread, you will love this recipe. The honey gives it just the right touch. I usually just pour it in without measure. A little extra won't hurt.
