Ingredients: “Good luck with this one! I loved it when I was younger, but sometimes it just doesn’t jell!”
1 lemon jello 1 lime jello 1 8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature) 1 lb. cottage cheese (room temperature) 1 ˝ cups of lukewarm water 1 cup chopped walnuts 1 cup of small can of crushed pineapple ˝ can of pineapple juice

Directions: |
Directions:Dissolve jellos into lukewarm water and add ˝ cup pineapple juice to mixture. Add cottage cheese and mix well. Add cream cheese and crushed pineapple and walnuts. Pour into oiled mold.
Refrigerate overnight. |

Notes: We used to make this often during the summer months and sometimes at Christmas, since it was green. It needs to remain overnight in the frig in order to jel.
It has a pineapple/lime flavor and the cottage cheese and cream cheese give it a good consistency.
We always had get-togethers at my Mom and Dad's house on Ronalds Lane. The picnics in the backyard were frequent and not only would we invite the family, but all the neighbors as well. Ah! The good 'ole days!!
