fried meat grease
flour
water
salt to taste
pepper to taste
canned or fresh ripe tomatoes

Directions:
Cover the bottom of iron frying pan with fried meat grease. Sprinkle thick with flour. Stir and brown flour. Add water and let gravy simmer a minute. Add salt, pepper and tomatoes. Stir up real good.
